Priti - Acupuncture, TCM Practitioner and Energy Healer
MSc in Traditional Chinese Medicine
Priti qualified in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007 and further studied to achieve MSc level. Her journey in Eastern Medicine has taken her to China, Thailand and India to expand her knowledge and skills.
Working at BlissKi since 2013, Michelle helped to develop her Energy Healing skills and she discovered she had a natural ability in understanding energy. TCM and Energy work complement each other with amazing results for our clients and has added Energy Healing and Chakra Balancing to her list of therapies for clients.
Having come from working in a corporate I.T. environment to now working as a practitioner in TCM she understands the necessity for balancing the body and how it can provide relief from the pressures of work, stress, sporting activities, even the impact of sitting at desks for long periods of time. All treatments are individually tailored and aim to have a longer therapeutic effect.
She continues to further develop her Eastern Medicine skills, with Dr Passang Thopchen at the
TMCA Traditional Medicine Chinese Acupuncture clinic
, organising annual trips to India for study. Dr Passang is a regular visitor to the U.K. and delivers lectures and treatments at BlissKi.
Priti started teaching a TCM diploma in 2010 (see the
School of Eastern Medicine
website) as she wanted to continue to share the benefits of combining acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, Tui Na and Tao-Yin and now teaches at BlissKi.
Priti has practised yoga since 2001, and qualified as an instructor in India (2013) at SVYASA University. She then trained with Mira Mehta for seven years and continues to study and practice yoga on a daily basis with Uday Bhosale. Her own study and practice provides the ability to share her experience with others.
The classes are now run on-line and at the University of Greenwich campus. At Blisski Priti offers one-to-one sessions to work on specific areas clients want to explore.
